Eastbluff Elementary began the year by performing a Waste Assessment to figure out how much trash -- and how much recyclable material -- is thrown away each day. See what they found out.
Eastbluff’s Waste Assessment
In the first year of the grant program, Eastbluff Elementary will:

Begin recycling classroom/office paper, cans, and bottles.
Make the “Monday Packet” available electronically
Launch a double-sided copying campaign
The student members of Eastbluff’s Green Team will also:
Perform monthly skits at Flag Deck
Hold school-wide recycling contests
Organize a field trip to a local recycling facility
