Green Up Our Schools is a grant program that supports elementary school waste reduction & recycling programs.
Schools accepted into the program receive $2,000 over 3 years and personalized assistance acheiving their goals.

The Green Up Our Schools program is pleased to announce the application period for the 2012-2013 school year is now open. Elementary schools in Denver and Southern California are welcome to apply before June 1, 2012.
Recycling Inspections: April 2012
Our recycling competition for Earth Month has begun! Each school in the program wil be performing classroom inspections this month to see which class is doing the best job of recycling.
The student green team will take a peek at every trash can to see if there's anything in there that doesn't belong (sheets of paper? water bottles?). The class or grade level with the best results wins!
